I was reffered by a friend who I later found out had the same difficulties as I am. 2 years after getting run over on my bicycle they transfered me to another attorney. Bow going on 5 years and I'm still waiting to collect. This is after allowing them to take my case with the expectation than the case would be resolved in 6-12 months! Caroline Shen and her team are awful uncaring lawyers. Pretty much what you would expect from a lawyer so I am not all that surprised. Just wanted to inform others to try another lawyer for cases like mine.

The legal process is long, stressful and intimidating. In that way, it is advantageous to people who deal with it routinely. The cynic in me says it's kind of designed to be that way.
Many people who get in a car crash or trip and fall or are negatively impacted by negligence walk away. Especially if you're dealing with a big, bureaucratic institution like an insurance company, I think they're often banking on you getting frustrated and walking away.
