I reached out to Michael Blacksburg to have him set up a revocable living trust. In our initial meeting online Michael explained basically what estate planning involved. The fact that the whole process happened online made it extremely convenient. The care and service provided was incredible. In the end I received an Estate Planning Portfolio Binder containing the trust, how to fund it, a financial power of attorney, a medical directive and other information that I had never considered. I count myself extremely lucky to have picked Michael to do my estate plan. I highly recommend Michael and his firm!

The staff at this law/trust and will processing are just wonderful to work with. I want to let anyone thinking about going this route to consider using Blacksburg Law. I first had Michael develop my plan then after a few years things changed and I needed to revisit my plan. The staff worked like a team all the way through the process. I know not everyone can afford this service and opt for some of those off the shelf solutions to developing a will but the money I spent on this process and the final product gave me the peace of mind I was looking for. So, if you are considering this route and I believe it’s the best choice, hire this team you won’t be sorry you did.

We worked with Blacksburg Law to update and complete our estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and health care directives. Michael Blacksburg was available to us as needed, and we developed a good working relationship with everyone on the team.
Their Estate Planning Questionnaire was the foundation for an initial conversation that answered a variety of questions about our overall wishes. This discussion brought out some of the areas that needed special attention.
They prepared a complete first draft, which we reviewed with them, before producing the final version for signatures and notarization. We now have a binder containing hard copy of all of the documents, along with electronic versions.
We are very pleased with the result. The Blacksburg team was very professional, and very knowledgeable about the various issues that we wanted to address. They pointed out some issues that were not fully clear, and guided us on some steps to take with our finances to avoid probate.
We are about to have a final wrap-up video chat with Michael Blacksburg. We look forward to working with Blacksburg Law for their advice when needed.
